About the project

Shared Charging is an FFG (Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft) flagship project developing and demonstrating a new generation of public charging systems that seamlessly integrate with renewable energy sources.

The goal is an adaptive, efficient and user-friendly charging infrastructure that balances the grid, interacts with PV and wind, and uses intelligent algorithms and energy storage to respond dynamically to real-world demand.

The project brings together partners from research, industry and public institutions and is funded by the Climate and Energy Fund of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK).
