The Silicon Alps Electronic Cluster is a public-private partnership that brings together players from industry, research, academia and public authorities to develop and position the Austrian electronics and microelectronics sector internationally with a regional focus on the renowned Silicon Alps region connecting the federal states of Carinthia and Styria. Thus providing a regional base for international visibility, the Silicon Alps cluster regards itself as a long-term strategic alliance and a tool for cooperative, efficient and business-oriented location development.
