Green Panther 2018 | Double Bronze for Brand Communication Agency Markenstolz

39 panthers in gold, silver and bronze have found their new owners.

The decisions have been made: the coveted Green Panther trophies were handed over to their new owners at Messe Congress Graz on Thursday evening. The 39 gold, silver and bronze prizes were awarded to 25 agencies, including 7 newcomers. 5 agencies managed to win several Panthers.

On Thursday evening, Hall A at Messe Graz was visually transformed into an impressive likeness of the interior of the Graz Opera House. The spectacular setting was just right for celebrating the 30th Green Panther ceremony and honouring the winners of 39 trophies in 13 categories.

Approximately 600 guests attended the gala. Cult host Herr Hermes led the evening. Chairman of the Advertising and Market Communication Group and host Edgar Schnedl described the Styrian advertising prize as the “beacon of the Styrian advertising industry”, adding: “The Green Panther stands for the entire advertising industry and gives us well-deserved appreciation for the most excellent creative work in Styria. The luminosity of this beacon encourages the many young creatives and also offers orientation for our customers. The Green Panther is a symbol of innovation, quality, creativity and uniqueness. What we creative types get for it is respect – respect for our ideas and creative work.”

State Councillor for Economic Affairs Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, who presented the trophies together with Schnedl, said in her statement: “Every year, the Green Panther is an impressive showcase for the Styrian advertising industry, whose creativity makes a significant contribution to the success of local companies by making products and services visible and thus raising awareness. I congratulate all the winners, and the nominees.”

The winners included brand communication professionals Peter Pöschl and Christian Stolz with their brand communication agency Markenstolz. They won two of the coveted trophies. In the categories of Corporate Publishing and Packaging, the agency won bronze Green Panthers for the brand “SmartBread – Backwaren mit Mehrwert” [SmartBread – baked goods with added value]. Silicon Alps congratulates the winners at this event.
