“GRAZ SECURITY DAYS FOR INDUSTRY” – a successful event took place on 18thand 19thof September at TU Graz
Over 200 participants took part in this 2-day event. We were able to reach a wide variety of stakeholders and decision makers of European companies and research institutions with cutting-edge talks from hot fields across cybersecurity.
The participants had the opportunity to register for individual modules and gain an insights by attending a set of basic lectures, general lectures or expert lectures.
Top-class speakers were present and provided the audience with exciting talks about their fields of activity. Bart Preneel, cryptographer, inverter and researcher, spoke about “Is the blockchain dead?” and Harald Stelzer, who dealt with the sociological and ethical aspects of the development and everyday use of information and communication technologies (ICT) by Styrian small and medium-sized enterprises.
Other outstanding speakers were Mario Lamberger from NXP Semiconductors, Stefan Marksteiner from AVL, Andreas Reiter from Siemens and many many more.
As the last highlight, the alliance around the Charter of Trust celebrated the inauguration of the SGS Cyber-Lab Graz by the Graz University of Technology with SGS and the Province of Styria. MMag.a Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, State Councillor for Economics, Tourism, Europe, Science and Research, was also present.
Our special thanks go out to our Cyber Security & IoT Cluster Focus Group partners for their active support of this event and of course to all participants! And also a big thank you to our sponsors SGS, Charter of Trust and AVL.
