Experts Brunch: Service 4.0 TM – A Review

This annual Experts Brunch was dedicated to the fascinating topic of “Service 4.0 TM” and asked questions such as “What will good service look like in the near future?” or “How will service change”.

Service – an increasingly important part of every organization. But what does the term “service” mean? Which aspects are included? Is service lived or is it just an empty term without content, a current hype? Service is in vogue. More and more companies promise to become more productive as a result. But what is it about this hype? What about the different aspects of service? And which approaches have proven themselves in practice?

The Experts Brunch took place on June 17, 2021, between 8.15 am and 12.00 pm at STEIERMARKSAAL in Graz, Austria. The morning provided well-founded answers to the questions raised. Jens POGGENBURG – Executive Vice President, AVL List – cleared up some popular myths about service in his keynote. It offered a sound understanding of the service world and showed different strategies on how to use service to one’s own advantage within the company.

Afterwards, Kajetan BERGLES, Karoline WÖHRI, Manfred FUCHS, Ronald FROSCH, Christoph EHRENHÖFER and Thomas MANHARDT discussed selected aspects of the service world.

After a networking break, the attendees had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in one of three interactive workshops:
