The state of the art in medical imaging is the use of 2D monitors to display 3D medical data such as CT or MRI scans. The basic idea of Augmentomy is to visualize exactly this data in real 3D using augmented reality (AR). Visualization in AR allows physicians to gain a deeper understanding of their patients’ anatomy, allowing for more precise planning of medical procedures. By combining AR and artificial intelligence (AI), these 3D medical scans will also provide physicians with better information during surgery, enabling faster and less invasive procedures.
