We are looking back to another eventful year characterized by the ongoing influence of the pandemic, while at the same time we became witnesses to the huge optimism, power and momentum of the Silicon Alps cluster and the Austrian EBS industry as a whole. 2021 was marked by major global attention in regard to the chip industry and related branches and businesses and we have seen Europe coming closer together in driving digitalization, sharing the joint commitment to advance sovereignty in R&D, supply chains and workforce. Alongside these developments, we, as the Silicon Alps team, were able to introduce a range of new formats, campaigns and services to strengthen our ties regionally, nationally and internationally to connect all partners to work together on the most important topics of our times and stand united as a task force of innovators, technology suppliers and experts bundling the know-how where it was most needed. Humbly, we may say we participated in transforming society into a modern world.

In our annual review, we look back on the highlights of 2021 and look forward to the new year with strength and confidence – we look forward to a successful and cooperative 2022 with our partners!
