A smarter, safer, cleaner and more enjoyable world enabled by the integration of electronics into everyday objects– This vision is currently driving various developments in the field of smart systems. The intelligent, miniaturized, energy-saving sensors and their versatile applications in everyday life are increasingly shifting in the focus of research and development. Almost no area remains untouched: Health and Wellbeing, Consumer Electronics, Smart Home, Mobility or Energy.
Silicon Alps awards the Special Prize “Smart Systems” in the Matura project competition of the University of Applied Sciences Carinthia in 2019. The Silicon Alps cluster focus group Sub Systems and Integration invites you to attend the presentation of projects and the award ceremony.
The cluster focus group proudly supports the contest with a jury of four members and three special prizes of 500 EUR each for projects in the field of smart systems. The winners will also be offered the possibility of an internship at one of the Silicon Alps Cluster Partners (between 2019-2021 according to their interest and the time availability of companies).
Even before the young and creative talents have completed their school leaving exams and some of them are looking for a job, you, as a cooperation partner, will have the opportunity to be the first to get to know the talents taking part to this competition.
Date: Friday, April 26th 2019. The contest takes the whole day, starting from 7.45 till ca. 17.00. The award ceremony is planned at ca. 16.00
Location: FH Kärnten, Campus Villach | Europastrasse 4, 9524 Villach
